Narrative Supposing Books Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven #1)

In the town of Hawkins Hollow, it’s called The Seven. Every seven years, on the seventh day of the seventh month, strange things happen. It began when three young boys—Caleb, Fox, and Gage—went on a camping trip to The Pagan Stone... It is only February, but Caleb Hawkins—descendant of the town founders—has already seen and felt the stirrings of evil. Though he can never forget the beginning of the terror in the woods twenty-one years ago, the signs have never been this strong before. Cal will need the help of his best friends Fox and Gage, but surprisingly he must rely on a stranger as well. Reporter Quinn Black came to Hawkins Hollow hoping to make its eerie happenings the subject of her new book. She too can see the evil the locals cannot, somehow connecting her to the town—and to Cal. As winter turns to spring, they will shed their inhibitions, surrendering to a desire that will grow and form the cornerstone of a group of men and women bound by the fight against what is to come from out of the darkness…

Criticize Based On Books Blood Brothers (Sign of Seven #1)

I had a review all saved up, and now it's deleted. I will re-write this later.

This was a good book. I'm particularly fond of the 3 part series books by Nora Roberts and this one is no exception. Recommend for any fantasy romance fan!

I'm a Noraholic but I was a bit disappointed with the last NR books I read, the Key trilogy, so I didn't know what to expect from this book. As I've learned the hard way, high expectations can be deadly, so my wariness towards this new trilogy ended up working in its favor as I really enjoyed this first book in the series and I'm definitely going to read the next ones.Caleb Hawkins, Fox O'Dell and Gage Turner shared the same birthday (July 7th, 1977) and had been best friends their whole lives.

Doubling up on the brain candy for the holiday weekend.12.2.14: This book is terrible. I can't stop reading it.12.5.14: For the love of God, stop having sex and go fight the demon.12.8.14: Finished this a couple of days ago. It is the worst. THE WORST. It reads like a Lifetime supernatural movie. I thought I'd be able to slog through the rest of the trilogy, but I don't think I'm going to. I will, however, try another Nora Roberts, because you don't get to be as beloved as she is just by writing

I enjoyed this book as I have most of Nora Roberts' books. However, I felt the ending was sort or rushed, I got to the last page and it felt like I had finished the book 3/4 of the way through. Also, a pet peeve, was what was up with all the mention of diet?? I thought at first it was going to be relevant to the story because it was mentioned so often, but it never was. Didn't enjoy that aspect of it. Once again, though there was great heroes/heroines. I look forward to the next in the series

I don't know why I bother with Nora Roberts anymore, but she is as formulaic and predictable as Roberts and in her guise as J.D. Robb. I think I used to like her, when I was 16. Maybe that's because she actually came up with new ideas back then. Total yawner, and if you changed the names, you could see any of her other recent trilogies shaping up in this short novel. Six characters, three relationships warming up. It is as if she just changed the setting and the action bits rather than any of
