Narration Concering Books Zig Zag

While an advanced physics graduate student at one of the most prestigious universities in Europe, Elisa Robledo, a young physics professor was invited to join a select research team working on manipulating String Theory, making it possible to witness images of the past as if they were live and actually happening. According to the team's research, breaking down particles of light, and accessing the code hidden within each fragment, they theorized that the possibility of witnessing the past, viewing such milestone events as of the crucifixion of Christ, or the earth when dinosaurs still roamed. Scurried away on a remote island in the Indian Ocean, they made leaping advancements in their analysis. Yet, their experiments resulted in something much more frightening and dangerous than any of them could have ever imagined. The team awoke something dangerous in their meddling into the fluctuation of Time. Now, years later, Elisa is faced with solving the mysterious and gruesome deaths of each member of the team she was once so proud to be a part of. Something or someone has focused their sights on Elisa and her former academic fellowship. In order to solve the mystery behind what the team's experiments awoke and just who or what is behind the dark forces trailing the once team's every move, Elisa must discover what really happened on the island where her team was once sequestered, and where she had naively thought their dedicated science was meant for good.

Judgment Out Of Books Zig Zag
While the synopsis mentions an interesting idea of using some new application of physics to look into the past, most of the book centered on some weird, fetishist messing with people and systematically tracking them down and killing them. While not a bad premise for a book, I was hoping the book would be more about the "looking into the past" thing, than the serial killer thing. However, there were other, larger problems with the book:1. Cliffhangers were forced in at every possible opportunity.

Ooh this was a thriller. It starts in the middle of a crisis, goes back to tell you how the horrors came to be, then drives straight through to an Inception-y conclusion, unraveling secrets on the way. The whole premise is based on a lot of theoretical physics (which may or may not be accurate), and much of it went over my head. I'm good enough with science and willing to allow some temporary suspension of disbelief (good ol' TSOD, as my 8th grade English teacher used to say), so I was good.

Greek review bellow the English one. This is an interesting book, I guess thriller, terror, science fiction genre (and I rarely read this genres!). It held my attention with its intriguing plot, many twists and turns, some decent physics and science thrown in and some ethical dilemmas, although I believe that some parts were not too convincing and the book could be about 20% shorter than it is.I bet this novel could be a good inspiration for a decent related movie.3 1/2 out of 5. "Η θεωρία των

If you like Michael Crichton, you will like this book. I am learning quite a bit about String Theory so far. I'm having trouble putting it down too. The action moves quickly.Wow! What an exciting book. The ending surprised me and I love that. I hate it when I figure it out before I get there. The science was fascinating and understandable. I had to stop and think about it at times, but it was not "over-your-head" kind of theoreticl physics.

This is one of the best SciFi books I've read in a very long time. The theory presented in the book is original, and very well thought out(at least to my pseudo-scientific brain). The character are fairly multi-dimensional, and there is actually a sexiness to the book. Which is to say the least rare in SciFi.

A super fast-paced book with an interesting premise, but ruined by a lot of fetishism and an incessant focus on keeping the thrill up by holding out on revealing things just a little too long. Not that holding out on the reader is bad for a thriller, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't spend 90% of the book wondering what was happening because the only description was that it was horrifying.
