I wish this book would have been fiction so the reader would find out the ending. It seems to me that the story begins over and over but there is no closure.Two stars is probably generous. The rating stems from having known but little about the Amazon rainforest from an experiential point of view. Had I even taken more than a few trips to the National Zoo's only-slightly-muggy version largely without free-roaming pestilence, my rating would probably have been lower.
