L A Fiore has done something not many authors manage. She wrote a female character in a romance that I actually liked. Ember was smart, loving, independent and interesting.She also managed to write an extremely hot, but very damaged bad boy. I actually liked them both very much. Added to that a great cast of secondary characters, and I was already well on the way to liking this book.The storyline was really good. A romance that the hero could heal and grow from, while the heroine could have all♥♥♥♥♥ 5 BEAUTIFUL FANFUCKINGTASTIC STARS Wow !! I certainly got so much more out of this book that I ever expected... I expected a good angsty bad boy meets good girl and they fall in love story.. but this was so so soooo much more Trace.. 6'4 of bad boy with tatts and muscles....so sexy.. all the women want him and all the guys step back when he walks by. I hope whenever I decide to write a story, and it turns into a self- published book, that I heed the words in my own reviews. Lot's of writers have stories to tell, but execution of those stories, however controlled it can be, and reader reception of them are left to luck, chemistry, and/or good editing! I am convinced.
