Chronicle In Favor Of Books Dangerous Games (Tempting SEALs #2)
When this hot, hard-bodied Navy SEAL plays around, he means business… It’s not whether you win or lose. Navy SEAL Clint “Iceman” McIntyre didn’t earn his name by being a coward. Or a quitter. Having crushed an infamous drug cartel in Columbia, Clint was nothing short of an American hero. Now he’s home, on a much-needed leave, but instead of some R&R, he finds himself neck-deep in the hottest kind of trouble with his best friend’s little sister, Morganna Chavez—the only woman who has the power to bring him to his knees… It’s how you play… Morganna has been secretly working with the DEA to uncover a thriving date-rape drug, which leads her to a shadowy faction that is more deadly than anything her team has ever encountered. Now, it’s up to Clint to keep this beautiful, determined agent out of harm’s way, even while the explosive passion between them threatens to consume them. Soon Clint’s greatest mission will be not just keeping Morganna alive, but getting her into his arms and never letting go.

Let me start by saying that I had been "warned" about Clint, the hero in this book, beforehand. Nevertheless, I decided to give him a chance since some readers really liked his "extreme alphaness". I could go for it, if he convinced me he truly loved Morganna, the heroine. Oh boy, what can I say now?...Clint was a major jerk and I failed to see any redeeming qualities in him. There wasn't even a hint of groveling in the end to make him less undesirable. He just liked telling Morganna what to do,Well, this is definitely a sizzler, let me tell you! Ive now joined the Leigh club and got a taste of her writing.:)Clint is strongest Uber Alpha Ive ever read about. It took me a while to like him, because at first I wanted to tell him back off and shove it. As a child he had an abusive father, who took out his rage over his wifes cheating on his son. Clint hid this from everyone, even his best friend, Reno. He spent most of his childhood at Renos house, and grew to like his younger sister,
As a big fan of Lora Leigh, I liked this book a good deal though it wasn't my favorite. I was curious to read about Clint since he seems to irritate a lot of readers, even those who love Alphas. I really didn't think he was that bad as far as his controlling tendencies (keeping in mind this is fiction and not real life). In fact, he seemed to like it when Morganna didn't put up with his crap but gave it right back to him. One of the reviews I read talked about him trying to keep Morganna from

Clint (Iceman) McIntire & Morganna Chavez. He's a Navy SEAL; she's a secretary & an undercover DEA agent; she's his best friends sister; they've known each other for years. She's on a case & he gets involved (he's on R & R) in it & with her. Very dominant alpha guy. 2nd bk in series.
Overall, I actually really liked this book. Morganna was tough, yet feminine and Clint was definitely Alpha, and tortured. What did bother me, was that I could not handle the fact that Clint kept rejecting her, for 8 freaking years. is he insane? And he keeps doing that later, when everyone knows that they love each other. For a Dom, he was pretty masochistic. Too much baggage, so not exactly my type. I think alphas who are just alphas because they are (not because of crappy childhoods) are my
Can I have this alpha male please.......... wow hot or what. This story was hot and thrilling and had me hot under the collar on many occasions. The sexual chemistry and heat coming off the pages should have set the book alight. The suspense part of the story was fantastic too, even Clint's tortured soul sat well with the overall feel of the book. This is a thrill ride you dont want to get off!!
This was awful. It took me so long to slog through it because it was so mind-numbingly boring and made no sense it was hard to muster any interest in it. It seemed that Clint was made into this Dom type and BDSM was just thrown in because it was trendy. There is nothing BDSM-like in this book remotely realistic. Also, I know very little about the military, but even I know that you don't join the ARMY to become a NAVY SEAL. WTF? Did the author do zero research? I mean just a simple google search
