Especially since they are some of my favorite books and I think everyone should read them. And this one is one of my favorites.Talon is male perfection. He has to be one of the most patient men alive. Sunshine cold be a handful at times and where most men I know would have yelled or at least been irritated, Talon thought it was cute. Which makes him one[image error]OMG I missed my favorite characters, they were introduce in this book:D..from Vane, Val, Zarek, Wren, and Nick(oh my poor Nicky, I missed his old self, always teasing Ash, and always got a humor handy when there's a problem brewing in the story now in the new books he's all bad and untamable and hates everyone including Ash:) and oh found Dev in the story with the rest of the Peltier family where they owned the awesome Sanctuary, a famous Biker bar where "weres" like them can
I loved the first 1/3 of this book, the heroine was really interesting, not the simpery virgin you usually see, but then the book rabbit-trailed off into a million different directions, not the most satisfying conclusion. I dunno. I am intrigued about a few of the other characters so I might try a few more books.Also the Alpha male thing is getting old to me, too many in a row, I've burnt out lol.
This reminds of the cover art for Pink Floyds Dark Side of the Moon album. While I didnt love Talon and Sunshines story, I can appreciate it for what it is - a solid stepping stone for what is to come!Prior to this, Kenyon hadnt included much to build the breadth and depth of the Dark Hunter world. 3.25/5'Night Embrace' didn't live up to the two previous Sherrilyn Kenyon books I had read, yet it was my pleasurable read.Hope the next one will be better.(There's a long way for me to reach Acheron book! I'm dying to read his story!!!)
