Rendition In Pursuance Of Books Ruining Me (Ruining #1)

Eighteen year old Jay Stevenson is living a horrible nightmare. Two years ago, she had the world in the palm of her hand, but in one moment, it was ruined. Secrets, lies, and the worst imaginable betrayal haunt her new reality. Burying her problems under a cold façade seems to be the only way to cope until it all catches up with her. Soon, she loses control of the lonely world she built around her, and the past, present, and future collide. Three guys are there when it all comes crashing down: JT, the perfect boyfriend she never wanted to give up; Rhye, the local bad boy “rock star” who made her forget the past; and Kane, the funny and sweet tattooed bartender who wants her future. Secrets must be kept. Choices must be made. Is it possible to move forward while still chained to the wicked vices of the past?

Column Containing Books Ruining Me (Ruining #1)
Rating: 0.25 / 5 stars This book is just an insult to people with depression. This book has an unrealistic portrayal of... everything.Almost wanted to "DNF" this right from the very start.Would not recommend.

4 HEART BREAKING STARS OMG!!!! WTF just happened???My thoughts are so jumbled after this book! Gut wrenching, angsty and tragic. HOLY MOLY.... WHYYYYYYYYYYYY! I'm completely devastated. NOOOOOOONOOOONOOOONOOOOOOOOOOO I can't believe it ended like that :o I'm SPEECHLESS. **Deep Breath** I'm going to try to collect my thoughts for my review. Honestly I'm blown away. The writing in this book was not great but the plot was terrific. If I had to rate my review on the writing, I would give it 3.5

For me- this is one of those books that I was not expecting much out of and I thought I had most of it figured out but I really did not and then I was so caught up in the ride that I could not put it down. I would like to give a shout out to the author for making me feel so much and I will be stalking her for more books. I am also going to give a shout out and share a review from Tough Critic Book Reviews's as she captures the essence of how I feel about this book:Read her review

RUINING ME!!!!RUINING ME DAMN STRAIGHT THIS BOOK RUINED ME!! Damn you Nicole Reed!! Just joking your awesome! I even told you so! SOME SPOILERS in here! Be warned! This is the story of James. She is a girl born with a guys name. Her friends call her Jay. Problem is she doesnt have many friends. She has pushed them all away. 2 years ago her life changed. She broke up with the love of her life, J.TShe turned her best friend Molly and Reed against her. And basically stopped talking to everyone

How can a book end like this????I am so broken right now!!This is a story about a girl... A girl who was happy, popular and had her whole future ahead of her....Then something terrible happens to her... Something that breaks her.... Something that turns her from a stunning happy girl, to a sad girl who sees death as her only end...The pain consumes her...She pushes everyone close to her away including her quarterback sweet boyfriend. The man she loved most of her life... JTThen she meets Kane...

I have to stop reading heartbreaking books!!Everytime I promise myself not to cry but I cant help ending up like this. Jay used to be the girl everyone loved and admired. She had a successful life , a boyfriend and best fiends.During her sophomore year something terrible happened and she decided to push all those people who cared about her away. Now at her senior year she is meeting a new hot tattoed guy Kane but her past wont leave her to live her future . Yes, you made me want my future again.

HOLY SHIT!!!! What a great/sad/awful/moving book...Bless you people who read it before Book 2 came out....Wow...
