How did I end up so frustrated? It’s a question Katherine asks herself every day. First, a surprise inheritance tipped her life upside-down, and now her new RV park is a muddy mess of half-restored trailers. To make matters worse, she’s falling for her first crush all over again. The only thing she’s sure of at this point is a full-blown identity crisis. Alex came home after a life-threatening wound ended his Army career. Now Katie is back too, and she’s building something called a glamping park? He feels like he let her down years ago, can he make it up to her now? Or are his own problems too much to handle? Fate brought Katherine and Alex back to Smithville, and the town-folk want to see them together again. Will the couple be able to cope with the locals well-intentioned meddling, or did their second chance at romance disappear a long time ago...

Write-Up Based On Books Hometown Girl Again (Hometown #5)
InterestingI enjoyed this series although this one was my least favorite. Tara and Lizzie's stories being my favorite. Hope there is another book to the series

I really enjoyed this story. I liked how self-contained it was, as it's part of a companion series and this was my first read into the series. I liked how each character was developed and their shared history was hinted at but wasnt unloaded all at once. I liked seeing a strong female lead, a pensive male lead, and the unique situation that brought them together again. The romance was a slow burn with friendly sweetness and I liked that rather than seeing detailed sex and intimacy. I liked and

Hometown Girl Again (Hometown Series Book 5) by Kristen Fullmer is all about second chances. This is an emotional story filled with three dimensional characters. The story revolves around the lost love of two people, Katie and Alex. After they both show up back in their hometown for different reasons, Katie for a funeral, and Alex with a life-threatening wound in the Army, they must ask themselves if it is too late to rekindle what they could have had. Katie has the additional burden of an

Hometown Girl Again is the final book in the Hometown Girl series. Alex and Katie's story was emotional, heartwarming and shows a second chance at love is possible. I fell in love with Fish, Alex's companion/service dog, who failed his service dog training by the way.(lol) For me, Fish was instrumental in Alex and Katie getting back together. As always the people of Smithville were their meddling, busy body selves. Hate to see this series end, maybe the author will write a novella, updating us

Amazing storyA beautiful story written from someone who has knowledge about the knocks life can deliver and having faith in trusting someone to pull you out of the darkness.
